This was by far the best experience I have had taking a car to get serviced by an independent mechanics shop!!! Historically, I have always had my cars serviced at dealerships; however by recommendation from another local Campbell business ...I decided to take my Audi A3 to Bay Area Motor Works. They are everything you want in an auto mechanic; honest, fair, reliable, great quality work, trustworthy, takes the time to listen and gives creditable guidance and recommendations on the needed repairs. They will not recommend unnecessary work which was a refreshing change from my experience with dealership service departments. No Pressure Advice
I am a DIYer through and through. It is very difficult for me to turn over the keys to anyone else, especially with my Z3. However, I had blown a CAT and did not have the tools and experience to repair it my self. I had tried just replacing the cat, and I destroyed the new one also. After talking to William for a 1/2 hour he had diagnosed the real problem, bad O2 sensors and now a bad replacement cat and was willing to let me go on my way with just a hand shake for payment.
