Our Facility
Bay Area Motor Works opened its first location as a repair shop in downtown Campbell in 1998. The company continues to expand, first to a larger facility in September 2001 and again to our current facility in 2010.
We're proud to provide a friendly atmosphere where customers and friends cannot only receive expert automobile service, but they can also meet and discuss Auto and Go-Kart Racing, technology, camping and fishing. Bay Area Motor Works invites you to experience our unique expertise in virtually all aspects of German auto repair, supported by the most advanced service and testing equipment.
William Sverdlov, Founder
William has had a passion for automobiles since he was a child. He has nurtured this passion through his ongoing studies, which began at a reputed automotive technical institute in Estonia. Since then William has acquired extensive knowledge in German and European auto repair and has become a higly regarded resource for other German specialized shops and technicians.
William's original studies focused on repairs of BMW, Fiat and Mercedes-Benz. Later, he completed advance automotive repair courses at the Sequoia Institute of Automotive Technology, here in the United States. He received practical experience and additional knowledge while working at Mercedes-Benz Service in Cupertino and the Allison BMW Dealership in Mountain View. In order to keep abreast of today's changing technology, Mr. Sverdlov attends classes and seminars monthly.
